However, instead of the genuine resin impeller, we selected a pump with a metal impeller. Only the bearing guide of the pump still uses resin, but since it is immersed in grease and sealed with an oil seal, there is no risk of hydrolysis-related degradation. The pump manufacturer claims "higher durability" but does not specify an exact lifespan. Still, since there are no factors leading to hydrolysis, we expect performance comparable to that of Japanese cars. Nevertheless, because no official durability value has been provided by the manufacturer, please replace the pump if the coolant temperature gauge shows abnormalities after 100,000 km or 9 years, whichever comes first.
